Sometimes, our shelter takes in a “bonded pair” of animals and we make every attempt to keep them together. Right now, we have two pairs of animals that we would love to find new homes soon.
Ruby and Opal were originally rescued from a hoarding situation in January of 2012, where they were living in deplorable conditions and surviving off of cooked rice as their only food. They received very little human interaction prior to their arrival here and have slowly, but surely, become more comfortable with the foster families that have cared for them. They will need a very special home that is willing to be patient with them. They are sweet cats that deserve a loving home after a rough start in life.
Their adoption fee is waived for anyone interested in adopting them together.
Diego and Sophia were originally adopted from our shelter 5 years ago, and even though they weren’t all that familiar with each other at that point, they have developed a strong bond over these past years. Sadly, their adopter became very ill and was no longer able to care for them, so they brought them back to us with the hopes that they could stay together.
Their adoption fees have been reduced to $30 for the pair.
If you are interested in either of these pairs of animals, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 701-239-0077 ext. 1.
As a pound rescue organization, the majority of our animals come from one of the 3 local pounds. Without rescue from local shelters and rescues, pound animals left unclaimed by their owners are at risk of being euthanized. It is always our goal to ensure that NO adoptable animals are euthanized at the local pounds. But we need your help!
We are currently in need of foster families for (listed below in order of most need):
- Adult Cats
- Large Breed Dogs
- Small Breed Dogs
- Young kittens with or without their mothers
When you become a foster family for our shelter, we will provide all of the food, supplies and vet care necessary during the animals stay in your home. You will provide the daily care and love!
If you are interested in becoming a foster family, you can fill out an application here. For more information on fostering, you can refer to our Foster Information page or email us at email@example.com.
